Like many, I’ve voted in several elections with little to no knowledge of the candidates or the issues on the ballot. Walking into the polling location, registering with a judge, and pushing the party button didn’t produce a feeling of arrogance or injustice.

The signs had barely gone up before dissension began to bubble up around the swimming pools and through the leafy streets in the neighborhood that abuts the mall. Hunters were thrilled, others were horrified, and within days even the mayor would have his sights on Rosemeade Park.
This article is from 2004; however, it is an on-going fight with corporations manipulating governments around the world for the sake of profit. The people they say they are helping are the very ones they enslave.
These days I hear politicians spouting about how they're going to change things by "introducing legislation". What they need to do is enforce the law! I swear, if I'm next to a politician that starts with that line I'm gonna slap him/her.
